A Sad Day

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Tim Dixon and I am the "Man Behind The Curtain", so to speak, of Carolina Independent Wrestling. I started the site in March of 2006 and have ran the site for the past four years. Unfortunately, I find now that I simply no longer have the time needed to commit to the site to keep it up and running and will be shutting it down. I have immensely enjoyed these past four years. I've been blessed to meet many great people that I consider close friends and I've had some awesome times! For every one of you; thank you so much for your friendship! For everyone who has submitted news, show results, upcoming events, videos, information or simply suggestions on things you would like to see on the site; I thank you from the bottom of my heart! You are the reason that I started the site in the first place and a big reason why it was as successful as it was! Over the past four years, we received over 2 million hits (11,000 in one day!) and the site has over 1000 registered users! It became more of a success than I could ever have imagined, and it is because of you: the loyal visitors to the site!

I, however, will not be disappearing from the independent wrestling scene. I will continue to work as an announcer at several promotions and I will visit different shows whenever I can.

As I have always said, please head out and support local independent wrestling in your area!!
